Today is my little Finnster’s birthday! I can hardly believe it has been 2 years since my amazing homebirth! Finneas is as cute and charming as ever. He’s into everything and if he wasn’t so darn cute I’d probably be more mad at him. He speaks in full sentences and is is very sweet and cuddly. We celebrated last night with Sullivan who’s birthday was on the 23rd! Sully is 9 and I can hardly believe it! They are bosom buddies those two and have a bond that is uncanny. I thought it would be a fun tribute to post a link to thier birth stories. Sadly, my website with Sully’s birthstory has been disabled. I don’t think I saved it anywhere else either….*Sigh* So I’ll just have to leave you with Finn’s.
Rani tried out for the Nutcracker for the first time this year. She’s been looking forward to this since the first Christmas after she arrived in America. It was so fun to see her so bubbly and excited for her very first audition. I wasn’t able to watch her, so it was pretty nerve wracking for me. She burst out of the room to tell me they said she “did great!” It was truly adorable! Today we got the notice that she will be a part of the Chinese Dragon body. She was expecting a different part so the news was quite exciting for everyone!
My only sadness is that this is the first year Xander has decided not to participate. He would have had the part of the Nutcracker Prince most likely and it nearly breaks my heart to have him miss out on it. But he is growing up and with that his likes and dislikes are changing. He’s not my little boy anymore!
